LazyPaw Animal Hospitals has an opening for a Veterinary Technician in Frisco, Texas. We screen heavily for attitude and seek only serious minded professionals. This position is responsible for doctor support and patient care.

Responsibilities:

• Client relations focusing on client education and communication of treatment plans

• Doctor support by completing the diagnostics and treatments ordered by the doctor

• Medical records and client communication notes

• Kennel and equipment maintenance

• Safely handle animals

Qualifications:

• RVT, CVA or at least two years experience at an equivalent position

• Excellent computer skills and a fast learning curve on new computer programs

• Excellent telephone skills and organizational skills

• Lifting and carrying animals which may weigh upwards of 100 pounds

• Technical skills consistent with a veterinary medical professional

• Walks or stands for extended periods of time
